19.06.2025 - 09:59The French publication Le Monde has reported that several hundred Ukrainian soldiers in the 3rd Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) have been using neo-Nazi symbols.
The findings were published on the outlet’s official website.
“Nazi salutes, swastikas, SS emblems. Le Monde’s video investigation team recorded several hundred such instances, posted by hundreds of Ukrainian soldiers on social media,” the newspaper reports.
It is noted that of the 350 soldiers identified using such symbols, around 200 belong to the 3rd Assault Brigade.
Earlier, Leonid Slutsky, leader of Russia’s LDPR party and a State Duma deputy, criticized German Chancellor Friedrich Merz for his support of Ukraine. Slutsky claimed that Merz, “in his blind support of the rebirth of Nazism in Ukraine, is ready to drag Germany into the hell of confrontation with Russia.”
