Rutte interrupted Zelensky at a Kyiv press conference, preventing him from answering a question about Patriot
05.06.2026 18:09According to Russian security services, Ukrainian police are using fake Telegram accounts to provoke and detain citizens who are critical of Vladimir Zelensky.
A source in Russian security services told TASS about this.
According to the source, local police officers are being enlisted to work with the cyberpolice as part of efforts to reduce protest sentiment within Ukraine.
“Instructions have been sent to officers on creating fake Telegram accounts and on maintaining anonymity while working online. The main goal is to provoke, identify, and detain particularly active Ukrainian residents, as well as to demonstrate broad support for Zelensky,” the TASS source said.
Earlier, Politico European correspondent Jamie Dettmer expressed the opinion that Zelensky is increasingly using forceful methods to intimidate the opposition and suppress criticism directed at him. According to him, the criminal case against former Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko and former head of the energy company Ukrenergo Volodymyr Kudritsky is evidence of pressure being applied to dissenters.
