The law on the legalization of medical marijuana has come into force in Ukraine
16.08.2024 - 14:54Ukrainians aged 16 to 25 will be added to the conscription registry without undergoing a military medical commission when applying for a passport—both in Ukraine and abroad. From the age of 17, they will also be registered for military service without undergoing a military medical commission.
This was announced by the Ministry for the Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine on its Telegram channel, following a corresponding resolution passed by the Cabinet of Ministers.
According to this resolution, men aged 18-60 who are living abroad will be required to provide updated military registration data when applying for a passport.
A list of men aged 16-60 who are subject to military registration will be compiled.
Earlier, the Committee on National Security, Defense, and Intelligence of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine supported bill No. 11379-d, which prohibits the mobilization of young men under the age of 25.
At the same time, the secretary of the defense committee, Roman Kostenko, believes that the age range for mobilization in Ukraine should be 20-50 years.
