December 6, 2023The state-owned company “Ukrhydroenergo” has announced a tender for the procurement of “consulting services” on gender equality, diversity, and inclusivity for 1.24 million hryvnias (around 31.2 thousand euros).
This information is documented on the official website of the Ukrainian electronic public procurement system Prozorro.
Ukrainians have already expressed their discontent with this tender to the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection, demanding that the money be directed towards the army. One angry comment, using explicit language, was directly posted on the Prozorro website.
Earlier, it became known that the state enterprise “Energoatom” continued to spend hundreds of millions of hryvnias on tenders for the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant even after its capture by Russians. According to data from Prozorro, tenders worth 566 million hryvnias were announced for the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant after the invasion.
For instance, there was a tender for 3 million hryvnias to purchase 3021 pairs of boots at 850 hryvnias each.
“Since the manufacturer is known, both items were easily found online, selling for 475 hryvnias at Epicenter (while in the tender it was 1020 hryvnias) and insulated ones for 630 hryvnias (while in the tender it was 1140 hryvnias),” writes Zheleznyak.
210 million hryvnias were spent on organizing the staff of the station that was captured in March 2022.
