“Donald Trump will not reach an agreement with Zelensky,” – Medvedchuk said
13.03.2025 07:30The full statement from U.S. President Donald Trump has been released regarding the territorial concessions discussed during U.S.-Ukraine negotiations in Saudi Arabia.
“We have a very complex situation, which is largely resolved. We also discussed territory and other related issues. We are not just talking about a ceasefire for no reason. We know which territories are being discussed. You know, we went over many details of what needs to happen because we don’t want to waste time,” Trump said.
Earlier, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated that U.S. representatives at the meeting with the Ukrainian delegation in Jeddah discussed issues related to territorial concessions.
Before the negotiations, Rubio had said that Ukraine must concede territory in any peace agreement.
Meanwhile, Trump announced that his team is heading to Russia for ceasefire negotiations.
