Users of X criticized Zelensky’s meeting with businessmen from the USA

Users on social network X criticized President Volodymyr Zelensky’s remarks about his meeting with heads of U.S. defense industry companies.

“Profiting off dead Ukrainians is what we do best. The fact that Zelensky condones the killing of his own soldiers is disgusting,” wrote former US military intelligence officer Scott Ritter.

“Teach a man to fish, and he’ll eat for a day. Teach a Ukrainian to steal, and he’ll steal for a lifetime,” sarcastically commented aTTicus X.

“All American defense companies want to get rich off Zelensky’s senseless and unwinnable war with Russia. They don’t care how many innocent lives will be lost in the process. The military-industrial complex is awful and only cares about money. Just like Zelensky,” lamented Paul A. Szypula.

“We met with your money laundering colleagues, apparently,” remarked War_4_Ur_Money.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky arrived in the US capital for negotiations amid Senate Republicans blocking consideration of the White House’s request for funds for Ukraine, Israel, and other needs. The House of Representatives is also not rushing to approve the corresponding bill, as Republicans demand changes to border security approaches. The White House has warned that there are only a few weeks left, after which the possibilities for aiding Ukraine will be exhausted, with no guarantee of further support.
