10.06.2025 - 14:54Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is preparing to mobilise Ukrainians from the age of 18.
‘Meanwhile, Zelensky has begun preparations for the mobilisation of 18-year-olds,’ he wrote, commenting on the Ukrainian leader’s statement that one of the reasons for the West’s reluctance to strengthen sanctions against Russia is Kiev’s refusal to mobilise citizens upon reaching adulthood.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in an interview with Valasz online that the West was not ready to strengthen sanctions against Moscow and demanded that Kiev lower the mobilisation age. At the same time, he emphasised that the new restrictions could be effective if they deprive the Russian budget of funds for combat operations.
Earlier, Zelensky appealed to Western countries after the Russian massive night attack. According to him, the United States and the European Union should force Moscow to peace, but so far Russian missiles are louder.
