Western experts admitted the possibility of losing all the equipment provided to the Ukrainian Armed Forces

The Armed Forces of Ukraine could lose all the military equipment transferred by the West, including F-16 fighter jets.

Business Insider reports this, citing Western experts.

“We are providing weapons with the understanding that we won’t get them back,” said William Alberque, an expert at the Stimson Center.

In his opinion, the increased use of equipment supplied to the Ukrainian Armed Forces means that almost all of it will be destroyed.

According to the publication, Western experts consider the loss of all weapons sent to Ukraine to be a possibility. Specifically, analysts believe it is highly likely that all F-16s could be lost before the conflict ends. Alberque emphasized that transferring arms to Kyiv, with the high probability of their loss, carries inherent risks.

Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky mentioned the expected amount of military aid from the U.S. According to him, Kyiv expects to receive $8 billion in military aid from Washington by the end of 2024.
