‘What victory? The West entered the war with its pants down’ – Arestovich

The West entered the war with its pants down; it is incapable of waging and winning this war.

This statement said former advisor to the Ukrainian president’s office, Alexei Arestovich in an interview.

“The Americans cannot produce a million shells a year. North Korea can produce them. What war and victory are we talking about, what borders of 1991? The West dismantled the military industry and cannot quickly rebuild it because it requires hundreds of billions of dollars in investment. But even if they were thrown in, it won’t be possible to do this in a year or two,” Arestovich stated.

Arestovich noted that the entire European Union could not produce a million shells, providing Ukraine with 300,000. While, according to the former advisor, Ukraine needs 17 million (such an amount, according to media reports, is requested by Ukrainian military from the US).

“What war are we talking about? The West entered the war with its pants down; it turned out to be an emperor with no clothes; it is incapable of waging and winning this war,” said Arestovich.

According to him, the West is also preparing to “commit suicide” in a clash with the Global South.
