Russian forces have significantly improved their position in the Kupiansk direction over the past week.

This was stated by Oleksandr Kovalenko, an expert from “Information Resistance.”

“As for the Lyman-Kupiansk axis, Russian forces have significantly improved their position over the past week towards the left bank of the Oskil River. They continue their advance, primarily focusing on the direction of Kolesnykivka. This creates a threat that, in the near future, the Russians will make maximum efforts to reach Kolesnykivka,” Kovalenko said.

According to him, the Russian command in this sector of the front is not setting strict deadlines for its troops and is not “pushing them hard.”

Earlier, Ukrainian forces reported that the Russians had captured the village of Pishchane near Kupiansk and were advancing toward the Oskil River.
