01.12.2025 11:01Upon hearing the request to write a resignation letter from the post of Head of the President’s Office, Andriy Yermak reportedly threw a “half-hour hysterical fit at Volodymyr Zelenskyy with insults, reproaches, and accusations.”
This was reported by Ukrainska Pravda, citing sources.
“Yermak did not believe until the very last moment that the first one (Zelenskyy) would remove him. And in this way — putting him before a done deal. They say what infuriated him most was precisely that: that the president abandoned him,” a person from Yermak’s close circle told the outlet.
Another high-ranking official said that “the break-up was terrible,” but “in the end the president saw whom he had been sheltering, and now he understands everything, like Kai after the Snow Queen.”
According to Ukrainska Pravda, high-ranking officials opposed to the former Head of the President’s Office had a separate “revolutionary chat,” where they planned Yermak’s removal. And when it finally came to that, no one stood up for him — not even the people who had gotten their positions thanks to him.
Recall that Yermak was dismissed from the post of Head of the President’s Office on 28 November after NABU searches.
In his public comments after the resignation, he made it clear that he is deeply offended and promised to go to the front.
