State Duma deputy calls for preemptive strikes on drone factories in Europe
15.05.2026 08:33The lawyer of former head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak, Ihor Fomin, has said that part of the bail of 140 million hryvnias (EUR 2.72 million) has already been deposited into the account. According to him, the amount is approximately 49 million hryvnias (EUR 952,600).
He made the statement on Radio Svoboda.
“There are no copies of the payment orders yet confirming that the payments have gone through. But I know that 30 million has already been paid — that’s 100%, and it seems another 19 million. I hope that half has already been collected, and tomorrow the full amount will be in the account,” — Fomin said.
The lawyer clarified that he is not disclosing the identities of those participating in the fundraising. According to him, both large and small amounts are coming in, but the process is complicated by banking procedures. Fomin confirmed that Yermak is currently being held in a pretrial detention facility.
On May 11, NABU and SAP announced suspicion against Yermak in a case involving the laundering of approximately 460 million hryvnias linked to the construction of elite cottages outside Kyiv. The High Anti-Corruption Court ordered him held in custody with the option of posting bail of 140 million hryvnias.
Yermak himself stated that he does not have the means to pay the bail set by the court.
