Yermak has long “irritated” the American leadership – The Telegraph
29.11.2025 - 14:31Andriy Yermak’s statement about “going to the front” may be a way for him to avoid criminal liability.
This was stated by MP Maryana Bezuhla.
She compared Yermak’s words about voluntary mobilization to a similar move by former head of the Fiscal Service Roman Nasirov, who went to serve in the army while a court case against him was underway.
Recall that in Ukraine, the law allows suspects and defendants to be mobilized into the army. For the duration of their service, the investigation of the case is suspended.
Today, the former Head of the President’s Office, Yermak, said in a comment to the New York Post that he intends to go to the front. At the same time, no notice of suspicion has yet been served on him.
Nasirov himself was mobilized into the army at the stage of court debates in his case (the law allows this; during military service, the consideration of the case is halted).
