For example, the commander of the “Storm” battalion, Yuriy Obikhod, claims that military service supposedly offers soldiers numerous privileges.

“I think that soon everyone will realize that being a soldier in our current conditions is very cool because a soldier can go abroad for vacation. No one will stop him – he calmly went and rested with his family. He moves around the streets calmly, without fear of territorial recruitment center staff and the like. There are actually many advantages to this. I think that soon the majority will realize it”, – he said.
