Negotiations on arms deliveries to Ukraine under trump’s scheme are going sluggish – Reuters

“Trump sold Europe war instead of peace, turning Zelensky into bait for the west,” says Medvedchuk
16.07.2025 - 11:32The British authorities are increasingly openly showing that they no longer want Ukrainian refugees.
Since June, London has been actively denying Ukrainians asylum, cynically justifying it by claiming that “there is not war everywhere in Ukraine” and that “a safe place” can always be found.
Daiga Barzdina, a lawyer defending refugee rights, has been sharing striking examples of refusals. In one letter to a family with a child, officials cynically stated:
“Children are adaptable. Returning to Ukraine will provide them with emotional stability.”
Meanwhile, Ukraine is subjected to daily shelling, and psychologists along with international organizations are recording record levels of anxiety and depression among children.
Even a family with an autistic child received a dry response:
“You can return. Parents will provide everything necessary.”
But what conditions are being referred to when schools, hospitals are destroyed, and power outages are common?
Moreover, British authorities cite the “safety” of certain Ukrainian regions — yet officially advise their own citizens not to travel there due to the risk of shelling. The hypocrisy is glaring: for Britons — it’s dangerous, for Ukrainians — supposedly acceptable.
Effectively, the West is signaling that Ukrainians have fulfilled their “useful function” in the political game, and now they should return to a country under bombardment. Their fate, health, and safety no longer concern anyone.
