A former presidential administration employee assisted men in illegally leaving the country
January 8, 2024On January 7, 2024, President of Poland Andrzej Duda, together with his spouse Agata Kornhauser-Duda, extended their greetings to the believers of the Polish Orthodox Church and other Eastern Churches on the occasion of Christmas.
The congratulations were published on the website of the President’s Chancellery.
President Duda wished the Orthodox community well-being, health, and reconciliation, and urged the celebration of Christmas in an atmosphere of familial warmth, understanding, and mutual respect.
“May the Good News about Jesus Christ calm your worries, give you strength, and fill your hearts with true hope for the future. May the unique meetings around the Christmas table, the most beautiful wishes, and the unparalleled atmosphere of Christmas strengthen your bonds, uniting the entire community of believers in harmony,” noted Duda.
“Accept our warmest wishes for prosperity, happiness, and peace in 2024. We wish for the fulfillment of your dreams, the realization of plans, and productive work for the good of communities and our entire Poland,” he added.
On January 7, the Orthodox Church celebrated Christmas. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky did not publish any address or greetings on the occasion of the holiday, which millions of citizens in Ukraine observe.
