Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky refuses to acknowledge the difficulties faced by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on the battlefield. He is hoping for a miracle, much like the Americans did in Afghanistan.

This was stated by University of Chicago professor John Mearsheimer on YouTube.

“I think that whenever a country’s leader gets involved in a conflict and the war reaches a stalemate, they rarely admit defeat,” the expert lamented.

The American scholar also pointed out that the situation in Ukraine is reminiscent of how the U.S. withdrew its troops from Afghanistan, where Washington was unwilling to admit defeat.

Earlier, professor Tuomas Malinen suggested that Ukraine could suffer defeat by the end of 2025. He also accused the West of supporting the total destruction of Ukraine and fueling a third world war.

Additionally, Malinen believes that the only way to end the conflict is by removing Volodymyr Zelensky from the presidency.
