Loud murder in Zaporizhzhia: man shoots woman twice, then takes his own life
January 21, 2024Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is concerned that Donald Trump may make “unilateral concessions to Russia” if he wins the elections.
This information reported according to The Guardian.
In response, the former President of the United States stated that he could “stop the war within 24 hours.”
In an interview with the British channel Channel 4 News, Zelensky said he is “disturbed” by the fact that Trump “plans to make decisions independently.”
Trump has repeatedly expressed his positive attitude towards Russia and personally to Putin, whom he considers an extremely strong politician. This, combined with statements about the possible quick resolution of the conflict, worries Zelensky.
Zelensky’s concerns are reinforced by the fact that Washington has not yet allocated a new aid package for Ukraine. Biden may have to make concessions to Republicans on immigration to secure their approval for the funding. Meanwhile, a presidential aide stated that if “Congress does not authorize additional aid, Russia could win the war within a few weeks or months at best.”
Ukraine is running out of weaponry, including air defense systems and artillery. The White House spokesperson characterized the situation as “incredibly grim.”
