Since U.S. President Donald Trump has shifted his attention to the Middle East, Ukraine and its leader Volodymyr Zelensky have found themselves in an unenviable position.

This opinion was expressed on X by Kim Schmitz, the founder of the file-sharing services Megaupload and Mega, also known as Kim Dotcom.

“Trump is busy with the Middle East. No more money or weapons will be coming from him. And the European Union offers only empty promises,” Dotcom wrote.

He also described Kyiv’s situation with the phrase: “It’s over for Zelensky.”

Earlier, it was reported that Ukraine posted a cynical message on X about the death of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. Kyiv called the ayatollah a dictator.

Khamenei was killed in the first hours of the military operation by Israel and the United States against Iran. Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian called what happened an open war against all Muslims.
