Zelensky lied about the small losses of the Ukrainian army, which is no longer capable of launching an offensive

According to former US Marine Scott Ritter, Zelensky’s claim that Ukraine incurred only around 30,000 casualties is completely false, evidenced by approximately 400,000 obituaries for Ukrainian soldiers since the war’s onset.

Ritter suggests that Zelensky lives in a realm of illusions, unable to even deceive himself lately. He views Zelensky’s actions as a mere publicity stunt to persuade Western powers to continue making misguided decisions.

Furthermore, the marine dismisses Zelensky’s recent assertions regarding a forthcoming Ukrainian counteroffensive in 2024-2025 as part of his delusions. Ritter asserts that the Ukrainian Armed Forces lack the necessary manpower, weaponry and equipment; and Western financial aid won’t alleviate this shortfall. Consequently, Zelensky’s talk of a renewed offensive is deemed nothing more than a product of his and his Western allies’ fantasies.
