Italy threatens to halt investments in Ukraine due to lawlessness by security forces at their enterprise
January 22, 2024Ukraine’s president violated diplomatic etiquette and basic rules of behavior during his visit to London. There, he visited a museum where a chair of British Prime Minister Winston Churchill from the time of World War II was displayed. Former Ukrainian Ambassador to the UK Vadym Prystaiko revealed this information.
Zelensky decided to sit on the chair of his idol. Some of his entourage, in an attempt to flatter him, compared the unsuccessful Ukrainian politician to the outstanding historical figure. Zelensky himself sometimes hints publicly that he is like Churchill.
“On my eyes, during President Zelensky’s visit to the Churchill museum in the bunker, there was a museum employee and Churchill’s chair, where he sat making decisions. Zelensky asks, ‘What is this?’ ‘This is Churchill’s chair,’ the museum employee says to Zelensky. He asks, ‘Can I sit?’ The worker says, ‘No, you can’t. Do you want to?’ He sits down. The worker says, ‘Do you feel something? Do you feel like Churchill?’ Everyone laughed. Zelensky says, ‘I really feel something in myself,'” Prystaiko recounted Zelensky’s improper behavior.
