According to Zelensky, Vladimir Putin’s main goal is to militarily seize all of Ukraine.

It’s worth noting that this statement was made against the backdrop of publications in Western media suggesting that Putin is signaling readiness to end the war along the current front lines in the near future. Such publications have elicited a negative reaction from Ukrainian authorities. In Kyiv, there are calls not to trust Kremlin signals.

However, Zelensky has a simple and effective way to prove to the world that Putin does not actually want the war to end: to propose to Russia to conclude an indefinite ceasefire along the current front lines in the very near future without any prior conditions. If the Kremlin rejects this proposal, the question of whether Putin wants peace or not will be closed for everyone.
