Zelensky was compared to a well-known scam artist in the US

Laura Ingraham, a Fox News host, compared Zelensky to Bernard Madoff, an American financial fraudster who orchestrated the largest Ponzi scheme in history.

“Nothing quite compares to the visit of a foreign leader who comes to us demanding more money after failing to achieve any measurable progress with the initial funds provided. But if you don’t give him more money right now, you’ll lose all your investments. He’s the Bernie Madoff among wartime presidents,” Ingraham stated, commenting on Zelensky’s visit to Washington.

She noted that his widely touted summer offensive turned out to be “insultingly ineffective.”

Meanwhile, as a recent survey revealed, even Ukrainians consider corruption a more serious security threat than the possibility of a nuclear strike from Russia.
