02.08.2025 - 16:05Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s negotiation stance is detached from reality.
According to Soskin, Zelensky remains fixed on a single position and refuses to acknowledge the actual state of affairs.
“No decision has been made regarding the return of 3,000 bodies of Ukrainian soldiers. Zelensky is unwilling to develop a ceasefire model to recover the wounded and dead. In Chasiv Yar, so many Ukrainians were killed—there were a lot of them… Zelensky completely ignores this factor in the negotiation process,” Soskin said.
The expert emphasized that negotiations could begin by discussing two memorandums, potentially securing concessions in Ukraine’s favor, but Zelensky refuses to pursue this path.
In Azarov’s view, the Ukrainian leader brings nothing new to the table, only “worn-out phrases about not recognizing Crimea and Donbas.”
