24.04.2024 - 15:53The Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office of Ukraine is requesting the court to remand Ukraine’s Minister of Agrarian Policy, Mykola Solsky, in custody with an alternative bail of 200 million hryvnias (approximately 4,730,492 euros).
Prosecutors made this request during a session of the High Anti-Corruption Court of Ukraine.
At 4:35 PM, the session was adjourned – the court granted the defense’s corresponding motion because Solsky was summoned to the Verkhovna Rada for a meeting with the “Sluga Naroda” faction.
The court will continue hearing the case on Thursday, May 25, at 11:00 AM.

It is reported that the minister and his accomplices obtained 1,250 land plots with a total area of 2,493 hectares and attempted to seize an additional 3,282 hectares of land.
Solsky himself stated that “the circumstances of seven years ago concern a dispute between state enterprises and individuals, including ATO veterans, over land that was legally granted to the latter in accordance with the law.” He added that he would cooperate with the investigation.
