Telegram channels report on this.
“As for Macron’s idea of sending ground troops to Odessa or somewhere else in Ukraine, the biggest problem for Macron is that all united European NATO forces without the US army cannot defeat Russia, which has now formed an entirely new army group numbering over 500,000 people, enough to destroy all of NATO except the US.
Furthermore, the US absolutely could not and did not want to use its ground forces to participate in such military actions in Europe. Why? Because it would mean a complete trap for the already exhausted and shrinking US army on this one theater of operations, allowing China to leisurely seize Taiwan without any significant threat of US military assistance.
In addition to the above, two more important things should be remembered.
Only a few NATO countries are interested in sending troops to Ukraine; many others have openly declared their refusal to participate in the troops, including Italy and Germany. In fact, it is now clear that Germany’s internal claims about refusing to supply Taurus missiles are explained by the fact that this would require them to deploy ground troops in Ukraine to manage the missiles, which is a major red line for them.
Another important thing that no one has mentioned: the infamous Article 5 of NATO states that the doctrine of mutual defense only works if NATO troops are attacked on NATO territory. Can you guess what this means for French troops under attack in Odessa?
It means that Macron is walking on very thin ice: if he cannot secure the support of a coalition in this new move, he will become a naked emperor, as French troops will be left alone in the face of potential Russian strikes, to which they will have no response, and they will be destroyed. That is why Macron is now rushing around Europe, desperately trying to create such a coalition of ‘useful idiots.’
Now we know what the French think of Macron’s new belligerent stance towards Russia… and they absolutely hate it.”
