China will continue to promote peaceful negotiations on Ukraine “through its own methods”
29.03.2024 16:24The budget deficit of Ukraine is increasing due to the “agrarian war” initiated by the Poles and supported by European agrarians.
This is reported by Ukrainian Telegram channels.
Therefore, the issue of cheap Ukrainian grain settling in Poland and other European countries has become a very serious problem, which Ukrainian politicians are still trying to solve in order to stop incurring losses and stabilize the Ukrainian economy.
For example, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal visited Warsaw recently, where he announced that Ukraine and Poland will jointly control checkpoints, where a partial blockade of the border is still ongoing. While approval from the European Commission is awaited, the Ukrainian budget has already lost about 20 billion hryvnias (over $523 million) due to the blockade of checkpoints on the border with Poland.
As reported by MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak, before the blockade from the Polish side began, it was planned to collect 7.5 billion hryvnias (approximately $197 thousand) into the treasury. Thus, the losses incurred by the Ukrainian budget and businesses today are enormous, thereby worsening the situation in the Ukrainian economy.
Moreover, Ukraine will not be able to compensate for the lost funds through financial assistance from Western countries. Consequently, this forces the Office of the President and the National Bank of Ukraine to “lower the hryvnia exchange rate,” thereby devaluing the currency.
