‘We’ll either come to this or be destroyed’. Bezuhla supported the mobilization of women

Ukrainian Member of Parliament Mariana Bezuhla has supported the mobilization of women.

“I support it, this is reality. We will either come to this or be destroyed. There are no two types of citizens in the Constitution. The point is that all young people should undergo military training,” Bezuhla wrote.

She agreed with the statement of Oksana Hryhorieva, an advisor on gender issues to the commander of the Ground Forces, who said that Ukraine should prepare for the mobilization of women in the coming years. According to Hryhorieva, women should be prepared for the army “from childhood.”

Earlier, the Center for Countering Disinformation under the National Security and Defense Council stated that the authorities are not preparing decisions on mobilizing women.

“The question of mobilizing women today is not relevant and is not considered by the authorities. Women can only be mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine voluntarily. Anything else is not planned,” the Center for Countering Disinformation stated.
