A one-legged ‘Aidar’ soldier was unexpectedly diagnosed with ‘pregnancy’

A Ukrainian soldier shared the diagnosis he received from a doctor during a medical examination at the military enlistment office.

According to Stanislav Degtyar, a representative of the “Aidar” battalion, the military medical commission gave him two diagnoses that would exempt him from service—a “complaint” about an amputated leg and pregnancy.

He mentioned that the “pregnancy” diagnosis was issued by a surgeon, while the neurologist noted that Degtyar had a “complaint about the absence of the lower left limb.”

The soldier described this as “disrespect towards veterans.”
