The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces stopped mentioning Vuhledar in its recent reports

The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces has stopped mentioning the city of Vuhledar in the Donetsk region in its recent frontline reports.

It is worth noting that, according to Ukrainian and Russian military sources, the city was reportedly captured by Russian forces yesterday.

The last time Vuhledar was mentioned was in the morning report on October 1, where it was stated that Ukrainian forces had repelled attacks on the city.

Since then, the General Staff has reported that Russian forces were “unsuccessfully” attacking Bohoyavlenka, but Vuhledar has not been mentioned.

At the same time, media reports, citing the 72nd Brigade, indicated yesterday that Ukrainian positions in the city still existed.
