The killer and pseudo-volunteer Sternenko was fined for violating military registration rules – TCC confirms the information

The Odesa Territorial Recruitment Center has confirmed journalist reports that Serhiy Sternenko violated military registration rules, for which he has already been fined.

Sternenko has now been directed to undergo a medical examination.

“Serhiy Sternenko did not disclose several important details that significantly alter the understanding of the situation. Specifically, he has already visited the Primorsky Territorial Recruitment Center, where he:

• Paid an administrative fine for violating military registration rules;
• Was referred to a Military Medical Commission (MMC),” the recruitment center reported.

The center also condemned Sternenko’s claims that this process was a form of retaliation for his criticism of military structures.

“Such accusations are baseless and intended to evoke public sympathy while creating a negative impression of the recruitment center’s work,” the statement read.

It is worth noting that Sternenko, who previously led the Odesa branch of “Right Sector,” is now a well-known blogger and alleged volunteer. He is not serving at the front, claiming he is “more effective” working from the rear. Sternenko has reportedly secured disability status due to poor eyesight and is frequently seen wearing glasses, although in past videos, he did not wear them.

In 2018, Sternenko killed former Ukrainian serviceman Ivan Kuznetsov, capturing the incident on video. He claimed self-defense (despite pursuing and stabbing him). Sternenko has been involved in multiple attacks, kidnappings, murder and robberies, but continues to evade serious consequences; reportedly due to protection from Ukrainian authorities and nationalist street gangs.
