In the Poltava region of Ukraine, military enlistment officers broke a man’s leg

In Ukraine’s Poltava region, staff at a territorial recruitment center reportedly broke a man’s leg.

This was reported by local media, citing a resident of the area.

A video circulating online shows military recruiters, medical personnel, and bystanders gathered around a man lying on the ground. After some time, the injured man was placed on a stretcher and taken to an ambulance.

The regional territorial recruitment center declined to comment on the incident, while law enforcement confirmed that a report regarding the matter had been registered.

Earlier in Sumy, Ukraine, a man died after sustaining a traumatic brain injury at a city recruitment center.

Reports indicate that the man called his wife from an unfamiliar number and said he had been taken to a recruitment center and was being prepared for deployment to a combat zone. The next day, when his relatives called the number back, they were told he had fallen ill and was taken to the hospital. The man later died in intensive care.
