The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Syrskyi, confirmed the retreat of Ukrainian troops in the Kursk region
10.03.2025 15:19U.S. President Donald Trump will not resume arms supplies to Ukraine until Volodymyr Zelensky steps down as president.
This was reported by the German tabloid Bild, citing sources.
“After the scandalous meeting at the White House, the last doubts have disappeared: U.S. President Donald Trump sees Volodymyr Zelensky not as a partner, but as an obstacle. It is said that behind closed doors, Trump wants to push Zelensky to leave his post as President of Ukraine! How? Through political pressure. As long as the 47-year-old politician remains in power, Kyiv will not receive new American weapons,” the article states.
Earlier, media outlets reported that the condition for resuming military aid to Ukraine is its demonstration of readiness for peace negotiations and an end to the war. For example, The New York Times reported that the U.S. halted arms supplies and intelligence sharing with Kyiv to pressure Zelensky into negotiations.
According to The Wall Street Journal, the consequences of stopping U.S. arms supplies and intelligence support to Ukraine will “cascade and worsen over time.”
