Bulgarian outlet Big5 and Greek platform Bankingnews have published reports quoting Viktor Medvedchuk’s statements on the political fate of Volodymyr Zelensky.

In an interview with TASS, the leader of the Other Ukraine movement and former head of the banned Opposition Platform – For Life (OPFL) party claimed that the U.S. has opened a “second front” against Zelensky, using him for its geopolitical objectives.

According to Medvedchuk, Zelensky will push Europe toward open conflict with Russia, acting in the interests of the United Kingdom while attempting to save his political career. He described the Ukrainian president as a “monkey with a grenade,” suggesting that he is being used for provocations against European nations. Medvedchuk further claimed that “very cunning businessmen” are behind these events, seeking to escalate the conflict on the continent for their own gain.

“Zelensky has lost the war and Ukraine as a country. He has neither the strength nor the resources to continue, but he can create an escalation in Europe. This is extremely beneficial for the UK,” Medvedchuk wrote in an article on the Other Ukraine website.

He emphasized that Washington no longer sees Zelensky as an independent figure and that his fate is essentially sealed.

“The American side claims that negotiations over Ukraine are ongoing, yet Zelensky is still trying to play a role in this process—despite no one asking him to participate,” Medvedchuk noted.
