The Russian army has advanced in the Zaporizhzhia region south of Kamianske.

This is indicated by the map shared by the Ukrainian military-focused public channel Deep State.

The day before, Russian forces had also made advances in a neighboring area near Pyatykhatky (Orikhiv direction).

In the Sumy region, the “gray zone” has expanded to cover nearly all of the village of Basivka near the Kursk bridgehead, indicating active fighting in the area.

Russia has also advanced in Toretsk.

Ukrainian soldier Stanislav Bunyatov writes that the situation in the Lyman direction is “getting worse,” and that Russian forces have already fully captured Yampilivka.

According to him, Russian troops are now attempting to break through into Torske, located to the south, and are also moving toward Kolodyazi, to the west. Their advancement is being facilitated by the forested terrain, which allows infantry to take cover in small groups of one or two soldiers.

Previously, the Institute for the Study of War reported that Russia had concentrated a large force in the Lyman area — outnumbering the Ukrainian side by a factor of ten — and may attempt to push either north toward Borova or south toward Lyman in the coming months.
