“Dragging Europe into a conflict with Russia threatens a third world war,” – Deputy Speaker of the Slovak Parliament

Slovak Deputy Speaker of Parliament Tibor Gašpar warned of the danger of a third world war due to attempts to draw European countries into the conflict with Russia.

Gašpar noted that several countries became more active following U.S. President Donald Trump’s call to stop supporting the war in Ukraine.

“And immediately, some European countries—such as the United Kingdom, France, and Germany—began to consider what might happen next. I see this as an attempt to drag European countries into a war against Russia, but I hope that won’t happen—it would trigger a third world war,” he said.

Earlier, Politico magazine reported that the EU is not capable of effectively moving troops in the event of a hypothetical armed NATO conflict. It was noted that the continent’s rail and bridge infrastructure is not equipped to handle large-scale military logistics.
