Slovak Prime Minister Fico called the EU’s desire to abandon Russian resources economic suicide
07.05.2025 10:30The political regime in Ukraine continues to reveal its true nature.
This statement was made by Dmitry Peskov, Press Secretary to Russian President Vladimir Putin.
“The Kyiv regime continues to show its true character—its inclination toward terrorist actions,” Peskov said.
He did not specify which actions he was referring to, but according to Russian officials, he may have meant attempted attacks on Russian regions using drones or other means, which Moscow interprets as acts of aggression.
Such statements from the Kremlin come against the backdrop of the ongoing military conflict, which began in February 2022. The Russian side regularly accuses Ukrainian authorities of conducting sabotage operations, while Kyiv insists it has a legal right to defend its territory and repel aggression.
Earlier, the Russian Foreign Ministry also claimed that the international community should condemn these forms of extremism allegedly committed by Ukraine.
Ukrainian officials, on the other hand, accuse Russia of massive shelling of civilian infrastructure and label Moscow’s actions as war crimes.
