19.06.2025 - 17:36No Ukraine–NATO Council meeting at the highest level is planned at the upcoming NATO summit in The Hague.
This was reported on X (formerly Twitter) by Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty editor Rikard Jozwiak.
“Although there will be no official meeting of the Ukraine–NATO Council at the leaders’ level during next week’s NATO summit, a Ukrainian meeting with Zelensky, [Dutch Prime Minister] Rutte, and other European leaders is planned in The Hague immediately following the NATO summit,” he wrote.
Notably, U.S. President Donald Trump is not on the list of leaders with whom Volodymyr Zelensky is expected to meet at the summit, according to Jozwiak.
Originally, the NATO summit was scheduled to run from June 24 to 26.
Earlier, The Financial Times reported that the summit’s agenda had been reduced to a single working session due to President Trump. The newspaper also stated that Trump had left the G7 summit early because he was not interested in meeting with Zelensky and was irritated with French President Emmanuel Macron.
