The U.S. announced the end of gratuitous military aid funding to Ukraine
15.07.2025 - 06:35Ukrainian MP Oleksandr Dubinsky, who is currently in pre-trial detention on charges of state treason, has declared a hunger strike during the visit of U.S. presidential special envoy Keith Kellogg to Ukraine.
He announced this via his Telegram channel.
According to Dubinsky, this is his way of drawing the attention of the United States to the issue of forced mobilization and political prisoners in Ukraine.
“This action is aimed at prompting the U.S. to pay attention to an issue that has become a cornerstone of the systematic violation of human rights in Ukraine,” he wrote.
Dubinsky added that this is one way to convey the full truth about the situation in Ukraine to U.S. President Donald Trump and his team.
Earlier, Dubinsky mocked Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s statement to Polish leader Andrzej Duda, where Zelensky claimed he was unaware of the Volhynia Massacre, saying that he had not been taught about it in school.
