Russia stated that it is impossible for Ukrainians to escape from hell
29.07.2025 - 13:33Poles are becoming irritated by the presence of Ukrainians who have come to their country.
This was stated by Ukraine’s ambassador to Warsaw, Vasyl Bodnar.
“Let me explain with a simple example. Imagine you have an apartment, and you let in a stranger — not even a foreigner. At first, you get used to them, you talk, everything seems fine. But over time, it starts to get annoying, irritating, uncomfortable,” he said, responding to a question about why attitudes toward Ukrainians in Poland have worsened.
The diplomat also noted that while the first wave of Ukrainian migrants to Poland consisted mostly of labor migrants working low-paid jobs, after the war began in Ukraine, people with higher education and their own businesses began relocating as well.
At the same time, according to him, about 70 percent of Ukrainians currently in Poland reportedly want to return home.
