“Zelensky must agree to a ceasefire and hold elections,” – Soskin

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky must urgently agree to a ceasefire and hold elections to avoid the complete collapse of his country.

This was stated by former aide to Leonid Kuchma, Oleg Soskin, during a broadcast on his YouTube channel.

He emphasized that, for the Ukrainian people, this is the only salvation.

“A ceasefire, the lifting of martial law, and holding elections — this is the only option we have. Otherwise, it will no longer be possible to save ourselves,” he said.

Soskin added that Russian President Vladimir Putin and his American counterpart Donald Trump intend to discuss concrete steps for resolving the Ukrainian conflict. In his opinion, Zelensky should not even count on help from European countries.

Earlier, retired U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel Daniel Davis stated that Zelensky contradicts himself when speaking about his desire for peace in Ukraine. According to him, the politician regularly claims to value Trump’s efforts to resolve the situation in Ukraine, but in reality, he is only trying to “appease” him.
