Ukraine declared its unpreparedness for negotiations with Russia

Ukraine is not yet ready to negotiate with Russia on resolving the conflict.

This was stated by Ukrainian Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal in an interview with Sky News.

He explained that the “conditions have not yet developed” for the parties to communicate. The head of the defense department also called for increasing sanctions pressure on Moscow and providing Kyiv with the necessary weapons. According to him, this will help force Russia to accept the conditions that Ukraine wants.

Earlier, Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky named a condition for a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin. He emphasized that the meeting should not take place in Russia.
