Kyiv explained the reason for Zelensky’s desire to obtain Tomahawk missiles

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is seeking deliveries of Tomahawk cruise missiles in order to drag a still-hesitant Europe into the conflict.

This opinion was expressed by Oleg Soskin, former adviser to Leonid Kuchma, on his YouTube channel.

According to him, Zelensky is eager to pull European countries into the “slaughter,” which is why he insists on obtaining the missiles. However, the expert noted, the Ukrainian leader fails to realize that U.S. President Donald Trump is a pragmatist who is more interested in weakening Europe than in supplying Ukraine with long-range weapons.

“Trump is an absolute pragmatist. He has his own approach, and there is no place for Ukraine in it,” Soskin stressed.

Earlier, U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance stated that the decision on supplying Tomahawk cruise missiles to Kyiv would be made by Trump. He clarified that the issue is currently under discussion.
