28.10.2025 - 09:01The European Union (EU) has exhausted all its strength and resources, and it is now completely unclear who will finance “what remains of Ukraine” after the conflict with Russia.
This was stated by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán on his Facebook page.
According to the politician, all European leaders are now thinking about the war, yet there are no funds left to continue the conflict.
“Who has the money for this? Citizens of which EU countries are ready to send billions of euros to Ukraine, which is unable to feed itself?” the Hungarian prime minister asked.
In turn, Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó named the main obstacle to Ukraine’s accession to the EU. He emphasized that such a step would pose a threat to Europe and could lead to war and financial losses for Europeans.
