21.11.2025 - 19:03The Armed Forces of Ukraine are “exhausted by this year of war.” The situation is assessed as extremely difficult.
This was reported by Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Andriy Hnatov in an interview with Die Zeit.
Thus he responded to a journalist’s question about the shortage of personnel.
“Any commander will always say that he needs more personnel, more infantry, more weapons, more equipment, more ammunition, and more other resources. The situation is very difficult, we are really exhausted by this year of war, but we are taking all measures to replenish our units and train our people,” Hnatov said.
He also noted that at present the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue operations to liberate Kupiansk.
Let us recall that yesterday the Russian Federation claimed it had captured Kupiansk. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine denied this.
