05.02.2026 - 11:21In Lviv, a woman opened fire at a vehicle carrying police officers and staff from the Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support (TCC).
This was reported by the press service of the Lviv Regional Prosecutor’s Office on its website.
According to the prosecutory, on Monday morning a 44-year-old resident of Lviv saw a mobilization process, took out a traumatic (non-lethal) pistol, and began striking the minibus window with the weapon. The minibus was carrying two police officers and employees of the Halytsko-Frankivsk District TCC and Social Support office. When the vehicle started moving, she fired at it.
Police told that the incident happened at about 7:30 a.m. on Kosmichna Street. The bullet hit the rear window of the vehicle. No one was injured.
An investigative-operational group seized the woman’s traumatic pistol and sent it for forensic examination.
Investigators informed the suspect of charges under Part 4 of Article 296 (hooliganism) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction provides for imprisonment from three to seven years. The pre-trial investigation is ongoing.
Earlier, reports said that in Vinnytsia an unknown person opened fire on a TCC notification group without causing injuries. And in Zhytomyr district a recruitment officer fired a gun during a clash with civilians.
