Ukrainian POW describes how TCC staff mobilize drug addicts

Private Serhiy Kadunov of the 157th Mechanized Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, who surrendered to Russian troops in Sumy Oblast, said that staff of the territorial recruitment centers are mobilizing everyone indiscriminately, including drug addicts. He told this to TASS.

“The TCC catches everyone: old men, the sick, the skinny. They brought in a kid — a walking corpse, a drug addict. A lot of drug addicts in general. One of ours nearly died — they took him to the hospital,” Kadunov said.

According to the prisoner, the Ukrainian army has special courses for service members who are drug addicts, during which their dosage is gradually reduced.
