In Germany, Western equipment was called useless in Ukraine

German journalist Julian Repke has called Western equipment useless in Ukraine.

He expressed this opinion in a post published on the social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter).

“The Ukrainian counteroffensive has been ongoing in the southern part of the country for four months and ten days. However, it’s hardly noticeable that it is making progress,” wrote Repke.

According to him, Western tanks and armored vehicles provided to Ukraine by Western allies have turned out to be mostly useless on the battlefield and are primarily used as “armored buses.” This situation has arisen due to “massive Russian fortifications, impassable minefields, and constant kamikaze drone attacks,” explained the journalist from Germany.

Earlier, the publication Politico stated that the war in Ukraine is not capable of leading to Russia’s exhaustion or its disintegration. The authors of the material also expressed the opinion that Washington should change its approach to Moscow, including ceasing to think about containing it.
