02.04.2026 - 19:11The new head of the board of Naftogaz of Ukraine, Serhii Koretskyi, reported receiving a total salary of 28.7 million hryvnias (€564,700) in 2025, meaning that on average he earned 2.4 million hryvnias (€47,225) per month.
In his declaration on the website of the National Agency on Corruption Prevention, he listed salary income from four organizations:
- 14.4 million hryvnias from Naftogaz
- 8.5 million hryvnias from Ukrnafta
- 5.7 million hryvnias from Ukrtatnafta (part-time)
- 6,000 hryvnias from the Zamok na Pankivskiy Condominium Association
Koretskyi became head of Naftogaz on May 14, 2025. That means he received 14.4 million hryvnias in salary from the company over 7.5 months, with an average monthly salary of 1.9 million hryvnias.
Over the same period, Koretskyi also received royalties totaling 2.3 million hryvnias from two companies in the Saneco group, Saneco Trade and Saneco Retail. The group is directly connected to his wife, Iryna, who, according to the declaration, received 272,400 hryvnias in salary last year from Saneco Trade. She earned even more through entrepreneurial activity — 3.2 million hryvnias.
Iryna Koretska is the owner or co-owner of three Ukrainian companies: Fortex Energy LLC, Molprom-Reserve LLC, and New Coffee Culture LLC. Serhii Koretskyi, meanwhile, owns two companies in Cyprus: Unigo Holdings Limited and Sungroup Invest Ltd.
Koretskyi declared more than two dozen deposits in Ukrainian banks totaling:
- 6 million hryvnias
- $485,300
- €31,600
- £838
He also has three accounts in European banks: one at the Swiss bank Cité Gestion with $157,700, and two in Spain — one at Banco Santander with €467,000 and one at CaixaBank with €29,300.
In cash, Koretskyi declared €1.1 million and $275,000.
At the same time, the head of Naftogaz declared 10 luxury watches from brands including Breguet, Rolex, Patek Philippe, Ulysse Nardin, and Opus; 12 pieces of jewelry from Cartier, Tiffany, and Van Cleef & Arpels; and 6 handbags from Chanel, Hermès, and Chopard.
The Koretskyi couple owns 17 land plots, but rents a house in the village of Kozyn in Kyiv region, as well as two non-residential premises in Kyiv and an apartment in the capital with an area of 233.9 square meters and a declared value of 2.5 million hryvnias.
