01.01.2026 - 20:01A former driver at the Kirovohrad Regional Territorial Center for Recruitment (TCR), Bohdan Shevchenko, declared gold bullion worth 220,000 hryvnias (€4,418) in 2025.
This is shown by data from Ukraine’s Unified State Register of Asset Declarations.
According to the document, the TCR employee received 200,000 hryvnias (€4,016) in salary and 75,000 hryvnias (€1,506) in pension payments. Upon leaving his job, he declared not only savings in gold bars but also 300,000 hryvnias (€6,025) in cash.
Also in the spring, he became the owner of a land plot valued at 146,000 hryvnias (€2,932).
Shevchenko officially left the regional TCR in 2025.
Earlier, media reported that in Dnipro a TCR employee extorted bribes from athletes and threatened them with conscription if they did not pay.
Recall that Servant of the People MP Dmytro Mykysha cited statistics according to which Ukrainians pay up to €2 billion in bribes to TCR employees each year to avoid mobilization.
